Illegal dumping, also known as fly tipping or fly dumping, is an act of dumping waste illegally without using an authorized method. For example, depositing waste onto land with no license is known as an illegal offense.

One day, as Mother Earth sat back admiring all that was going on she thought she felt a large growing pain lingering inside of her. “Oh well what is that?”, as she investigated through every hemisphere of earth. After looking through Africa, Asia, South America, Europe, Antarctica, and many parts of North America; she found exactly what she was looking for and the problem at hand. The pain came from America, she exclaimed, “Oh my heavens above! What in the name of Venus and Mars is going on here!”, Moving in closer to find the direct pain, Mother Earth zoomed into Ohio, but even more shocking than Cleveland, Ohio where the most heartbreaking concern originated from. It didn’t surprise her though, this isn’t  the first time Cleveland has hurt her.

Looking back into her memory, the worst that Cleveland has put her through wasn’t now; it was June 21st 2016. That was the day of the Cavs championship parade. Over one million citizens were downtown and had a great time, but the gut wrenching consequences left the Mother of our precious Earth in insane shock and disbelief. People had thrown and left their trash on the sidewalks, in the street, blowing in the wind, and anywhere else you can imagine. “Why don’t they understand? This is their earth too!”

As Mother Earth cried and wept for hours, she calmed herself down and focused elsewhere on other parts of the world to cheer herself up to see the happy things that were going on everywhere.

Illegal dumping and throwing trash anywhere, instead of disposing of it properly can cause extreme dangers for us all. We don’t take into account how our actions can have long term affects. We have to realize this is for the environment in which we live in.

With days still passing, Mother Earth was still upset about the situation and wished she knew a way to show human beings how illegal dumping and trash all around made her feel. In the midst of doing this, Saturn approached to make sure her friend was ok. “Hey girl, what’s going on with you? Why you looking like your axis switched directions?” Although she wasn’t up to it, Mother Earth informed her friend, Saturn, know what was going on with the human beings living on her planet. She gave up on trying to find the solution to this huge problem lingering inside of her. When Mother Earth was done explaining, Saturn was completely dumbfounded at what she heard.

Saturn was so angry that her ring cracked and her face turned red as Mars. “Oh my, Saturn are you alright?” Her facial expression softened as she looked at earth. “I’m so sorry. Yes I am, I didn’t mean to scare you.” “Ok good, I was really worried.” “Listen, I have a plan that is destined to scare the human beings on your planet so much to the point where they’ll never treat you that way ever again.” After hearing the plan Saturn had come up with, she definitely liked it and agreed it would be the way to ensure her longevity and safety. For the next couple of days, the earth had never seen anything like it had before.

There were hurricanes, wind storms, heat waves, tornadoes, and anything you can imagine happened in a time span of a week. “That should show them.”, Mother Earth thought. “I really hope they get their act together. I want to continue taking care of them, but only if they take care of me as well.” Content with her actions, in the next couple weeks everything was back to normal and mother earth was once again admiring the lives that inhabited her planet. “All I needed was respect. You get what you give” she thought smiling.
